I’m rolling up my sleeves and heading outdoors for the next several weeks… especially after putting together 7 easy spring outdoor projects you can do in a day. The weather is lovely, the windows are open with a fresh, almost constant sea breeze. I’m energized to get busy on so many new projects. I don’t know where to start first. This will be the very first time in almost three years that I can think about…no, not think, do something about… curb appeal. I feel like a kid in a candy store with ideas rushing through my head, I wish I didn’t have to sleep because I want to do them all..and right now!
But I can’t.
I have to pick and choose my projects with little boring and practical things in mind like budget, how much time do I have and what is a priority. I started a Spring Inspiration Board on Pinterest to help me collect ideas, and from that I picked my top 7 easy spring outdoor projects you can do in a day to share today.
Freshen a front door with a new coat of paint. I share a beginner’s guide on how to paint a front door here, and if you’re adventurous, try faux painting your front door copper like I did.
Not ready to paint your front door? Consider adding a fresh spring wreath to welcome friends and family.
Stack a few planters, paint your house numbers and place by the door. Such a great idea for a small front porch.
Try color coordinating mixed planters for a unified look and instant color.
Create a vignette with a spring theme.
Add a bench or inviting seating to your front porch. One of my first build projects was a bench made from a headboard .
Go bright with this popular color that I can’t get enough of that I used in this Easy Cafe Table Makeover.
That’s it for my 7 easy spring outdoor projects you can do in a day. Have I started the creative inner you to think up a colorful and spring like project this weekend?
I Hope so!
