I love our country, our flag, I love Americana, pretty much anything red white and blue and patriotic projects. Guess what I have to share today? Yep, and lots of it too. A bunch of creatives who love DIY and can build or make just about anything you can dream up came together and decided to share our red white and blue patriotic DIY projects.
I’m not sure why summer seems to be flying by at the speed of light this year, but it is. With all of my other projects and working on the house, I haven’t created any new red white and blue patriotic DIY project sthis season.
…And we just got back in town late last night from our trip to Napa. Outside of sharing some colorful wine & pretty bottles, my DIY plate is empty. Which is all good, because it gives me a chance to pick out and share a few of my all time favorite red white and blue patriotic DIY projects for this patriotic tour.
I loved everything about making these chairs.
They are hand painted, mostly dry brushed as you’ll see from the detail pics.
Would you be surprised if I said that the stars are decoupaged? They are just plain old white copy paper.
I dry brushed just a tad over them to add some texture. I know I say all my projects are fun, but this one really was fun, and easy. This is what they looked like when I found them at Goodwill for $5 each. I had no clue what I was going to do with them. Click HERE to see my Americana Decoupage Chairs tutorial.
I photographed them at a local park. The lake and the ibis (white birds) in the background were the perfect touch for these. Don’t you think so?
If I had to narrow down a few more of my favorite red white and blue patriotic DIY projects I’d pick these fun rope candle holders I made from flower vases and empty candle containers. Click here to see my Nautical Rope Candle Holders
One of my rare shares of a recipe, that’s as pretty to look at as it’s health to eat. See my easy gluten free, dairy free Patriotic Dessert here.
I promised you a whole collection of red white and blue patriotic DIY projects. Each picture below lists one or more projects like I did here in my post. Click on any picture below to get to the project you see.
Don’t miss a single creative idea I share!
